And Mary said, My entire being lifts God up to where God belongs and celebrates that God is my saviour.   God is giving me such an incredible opportunity even though the world considers me to be poor and unworthy.   From today on and always people will remember me as one who has been truly blessed by God because of this amazing gift God has given me and the many wonderful things God has done for me.   God is most holy indeed. God is kind to those who respect God no matter what age we live in.   God is very mighty and has brought down those who thought that they were better than others. God has the authority needed to make those in power to be weak and to make the weak to be in power. God will make those who are hungry for food, knowledge, or faith full with those good things – those who are rich however will not receive any of this from God.   God has helped me, God’s servant, to remember all the kind things God has always done for me – ...

We gather today to celebrate the gifts God has given us; We celebrate those who are good at administration, cleaning, leading, technology. We rejoice in the varied ways we all come together as a family for God; We celebrate those among us who push us to use the gifts we have in service to others. Today we give thanks for those who use their talents with thread, yarn, and cloth, so that we can minister to the men, women, and children in our world who do not have enough. We give thanks to God for all our gifts. Amen. Used Sept 30 2012.

God, help us to understand what it means to follow you.   May our offerings today be used to do your work in our world so that all may know the work of Jesus the Messiah. Amen. Used Sept 16th. Scripture Mark 8:27-34

We come full of a week of work and play ready to be together Be still and know that I am God. We come with burdens as well as celebrations Be still and know that I am God. We come ready to be filled the with Spirit of love Be still and know that I am God. In all that we experience each day we can rest easy because God says to us all: Be still and know that I am God. Blessed God, We give to you today what is your own.   May the money we have presented not only help the buildings that help your people, but also help the families all around our communities.   Help us to give ourselves in the ways you want, not only in the ways we want. Amen.

What Does the Lord Require of Us? To do justice, and love kindness, and walk humbly with our God. How can we do justice? To listen to what God is calling us to do. How can we love Kindness? To love all of God’s creatures as our neighbour. How can we walk humbly with our God? To take time to listen to the sure stillness that is in God’s vast love for all.
